ZANE HOMESLEY

GOSHAWK FOUNDER, PRESIDENT

Zane graduated with an MS in wildlife science from New Mexico State University and has been working in environmental consulting since 1995. His experience includes threatened/endangered species and Waters of the US regulations and permitting. Zane's commitment to his clients inspired him to build Goshawk based on efficiency and reliability.

STEVE EVANS

Vice President/Principal Investigator

Steve is a Registered Professional Archaeologist with a BA from UT Austin and an MA from Sam Houston State. He has been working in the field of Cultural Resources Management since 2015. He has worked extensively in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico on projects related to oil and gas, electrical transmission lines, and parks. Steve is passionate about the past and enjoys helping clients navigate the web of regulatory laws.

 
 

Chelsea Barnett

Environmental Specialist/Ecologist

Chelsea received her BS from University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2020. She has extensive experience working in National Parks and the Alaska Department of Natural Resources. She joined the Goshawk team in 2024.

Koleby Thomas

Archeologist

Koleby received his BA from Colorado Mesa University with a concentration in History and Archaeology. He has been worked in the field of Cultural Resources Management since 2020. He has extensive archeological experience in the American Southwest.

Andrew Beckert

Archaeologist

Andy received his BA from University of Colorado Boulder in 2024 and joined the Goshawk team shortly after. Andy is determined and dedicated to historic preservation and serving client needs.

Aayan Ansari

Environmental Specialist/Ecologist

Aayan received her BS from Texas A&M University in 2023 and started with Goshawk in 2024. Aayan is driven and passionate about ecology and conservation, and spends much of her free time hiking and exploring the wilderness of Central Texas.

Valerie Werfel

Archeologist

Valerie received her BA from the University of Texas with a concentration in anthropology. Since then, she has conducted archeological survey in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Belize. Her experience includes writing archeological reports for submission to regulatory agencies and preparing artifact assemblages for curation.

Siobhan Pritchett

Archaeologist/NEPA Specialist

Siobhan received her BS in Anthropology from Texas State University in 2019. She has worked extensively in Texas and New Mexico.

Thomas Norris

Environmental Specialist/Ecologist

Thomas is a veteran who served four years active duty in the Army. He received his BS from Texas State University in 2023 and joined the Goshawk team shortly after. He has gained extensive experience preparing environmental assessments and conducting field surveys in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

Sarah Bethke

Editor/Permit Writer

Sarah is our editor at Goshawk. She reviews all documents to  ensure quality and consistency with client and regulatory requirements. She also assists with floodplain and ROW permitting, our company health and safety program, and project management. She holds a Master’s of Environmental Planning from Arizona State, and worked in NEPA planning for transportation projects prior to joining Goshawk.

Mr. Bingley

Staff and Client Relations Specialist

Mr. Bingley is a friendly and outgoing staff member with a determination to ensure moral is kept high. He enjoys belly rubs and long walks (anywhere).
